Pisa is connected by direct flights to numerous European airports. Florence Airport (FLR) offers various additional connections, and is 70 min by shuttle bus from Pisa Airport (PSA). Pisa is also connected to Florence by fast trains (50 min), and by hourly regional trains.
ACCOMMODATION
STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ARRANGING THEIR TRANSPORTATION TO PISA AND ACCOMMODATION DURING THE WINTER SCHOOL PERIOD.

The Residence le Benedettine, the guesthouse of the University of Pisa, located on the bank of the river Arno, provides accommodation for both Italian and international students, researchers and professors. On their website it is possible to view the special rates and book the stay. Be warned that it is often fully booked.
